The change comes as the club announces its admission prices for the 2019/20 campaign which will see City switch to the Bostik League North.
Explaining the move to free entry for age 16 and under, City Vice-Chairman Terry Dunn said "There has been a discussion during the closed season about re-structuring our admission prices to try and encourage more youngsters to support City. In an attempt to do this we have decided to scrap our £3.00 admission fee for 12-16 years and just make it free to everyone under 16. We really hope that this will see an increase in the amount of youngsters who support the club. We pride ourselves on being a family and community club, and with the new stadium at Sawston on the horizon there is no better opportunity for us to engage with a new generation of City fans. We hope that those who take advantage of the free entry will come back again and be part of our journey as we move to the new era at Sawston".
Meanwhile, applications for season tickets have got off to a good start with many fans renewing in anticipation of City's assault on the Bostik League North. A reminder that the early bird deadline expires on 31 July.
